Although I've not posted I've actually managed to continue doing some practice since I last posted which is the most I've managed to do since I was still in school.
    Progress has been slow and I've not made anything great (or even good) but right now I'm focusing on the basics and and building up my ability one small block at a time.
    Once I have something not so plain and boring to show I'll be sure to post here and share with everyone but in the mean time I refuse to post just anything simply because it was drawn by myself.

So since my last post I haven't drawn anything until yesterday so there has been no progress at all, so I'm still pretty terrible. That being said I have been busy and I'm still busy for the next month but I should be getting some time too pour into studying art more soon so things will be in motion and I'll finally stop sucking so much 

That being said from yesterday I've decided that to make myself study at least a little per day I'm going to practice drawing one pokémon per day to both, keep me drawing and to have an archive or progress over a long time.
I started yesterday and I'll post a backlog at some point and then get to a regular post schedule (for the next two or three years).

Hello guys,

It's been two years. Where have I been and what do I have to show for it?

Well...

I didn't keep up with the art back 2 years ago and so haven't really progressed at all. Truth is, life kinda got in the way so art became the last thing on my mind.

So what have I done in the time gap?

I decided to go to university while working part-time. I'm currently dusting off the last of my uni's Japanese language classes so my language has gotten to a high standard, though of course still not fluent yet.
I also learnt a lot of French from my first year at uni where i studied in French 2 though in all honesty the course wasn't great and I learned just about all of my French online.

So what am I doing back here?

I recently picked up my pencils and old art books again to give all of this another go though we'll see how far I get this time. I remember last time that one of the major factors that kept me from really committing to art was that the sheer amount that I needed to learn and I wasn't able to break it down in mind so it all became overwhelming.
That being said I'm now hoping to just take art one piece at a time and just improve at my pace without worrying how fast or slow I'm going.

Are you going to stick around this time?

Probably, I want to stick around and have this be a clean start from what has been a very unsuccessful run so far and I'm hoping to produce at least one piece of art per week so that I have to produce something to keep me constantly practicing, though this can only be if university is permitting.

Anything else?

Not really. Two years on I'm a little older, a little smarter though mostly I'm just more persistent which is generally which sees me through most things in life.

Anyway, I guess this is welcome to Breeze Shippuden?

Hey all,

I suppose an introduction and explanation is in order.
My name is Jack and I'm interested in art. Now as general a term as art is I can't say I whole heartedly prefer one thing to another as its all so very subjective.
After much time of deliberating I've decided that I'm going to pick up some tools and begin learning how to craft art and to share my journal with the internet. This being the case expect a lot of work in progress and practice pieces here before anything substantial turns up. Also please go ahead and give constructive criticisms and point out how better artist do certain things as every little helps.

I can't think of anything else to write with regards to the goings on of this blog so I may aswell use the rest of this first piece to give you guys a bit more information about me.
I work as a full time software engineer and never went to university, though I am hoping on going at some point in the future just so I can get a BA and work up that career ladder (preferably outside of IT). I've been studying Japanese for the last couple of year and am at an intermediate level, I've also began learning French which I rather enjoy. I used to really love manga and anime though now days I use it more for practice than anything. I love martial arts and after being out of it for roughly two years I'm hoping to join an Aikido class very soon. There honestly just isn't enough time/money to follow all of my hobbies but that's life I suppose.

Anyway, I'll catch you guys around and I hope you enjoy the pieces I create in coming time.
